2020 Mandatory Tryout Meeting

Anyone who is planning to tryout for the Springville High School softball team this year MUST attend a mandatory tryout meeting, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 5:30 pm in the SHS Cafeteria. At least one parent should attend as well. Information will be given about tryouts and the upcoming season. If you have any questions please contact Jill Thackeray (jill.thackeray@nebo.edu).

Summer Open Gyms

Open Gyms will be held at the high school softball fields from 7:15-8:45 am on the following dates: June 19, 24, 26; July 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29. We will hold ten total open gyms for the summer. Anyone who plans to go to Springville High School is welcome to attend. There are three mandatory weeks of softball moratorium throughout the summer: June 30-July 6 and August 5-18. No softball activities will be held throughout these dates. We will begin Fall Open Gyms after school starts. If you have any questions please contact Jill Thackeray (jill.thackeray@nebo.edu).

There will be a quick informational meeting for any 9th-12th grade students interested in trying out for the Springville High School softball team on Thursday, November 8th, at 3:00 pm in the SHS Cafeteria. JV Tournament Schedule (March 24th)

Bus leaves at 7:30 am!

9 am- vs. Juab (upper field 1)
11 am- vs. Spanish Fork (upper field 1)
3 pm- vs. Lehi (lower field 1)
5 pm- vs. North Sevier (lower field 1)

Everyone will need a ride home as we will send the bus back after the break!

 Reminder of the schedule for the rest of this week:

• Wednesday-- IMPACT Testing 3:00 pm in the computer lab in the main building-- practice immediately after until 5:00 pm. 
• Thursday-- -- Practice 4:00-6:00 pm (meet in the G-Wing Gym).
• Friday-- Team Pictures 2:45 pm in Ms. Hansen's room D-3-- team kickoff immediately after (5:00-10:00 pmish)
• Saturday-- Practice 9:00-11:00 am

Other announcements:

• The ONLY fee that you should pay for right now is your participation fee! This must be paid by the first game on Wednesday, March 7th! DO NOT pay for anything else until all banner/media guide fundraising has been completed!  
• All commitment forms and fundraising artwork (for banners and the media guide) is due by Friday, March 9th! 

2018 Softball Tryouts

Tryouts for the Springville High School softball team will be held Monday, February 26th and Tuesday, February 27th.

February 26th: 3-5 pm (meet downstairs by the cages)
February 27th: 5-7 pm (meet downstairs by the cages)

Please make sure Register My Athlete is complete and that all paperwork is turned in at the front office. You MUST have your yellow slip in order to try out! Any questions, contact Jill Thackeray!

Softball Open Gyms (January and February)

Springville High School softball open gyms will begin Monday, January 8th. Meet downstairs at the cages. Anyone interested in trying out for this year's team is invited to attend. Open gyms will be held Monday-Thursday during January and February. On A days we will go from 3-5 pm. On B days we will go from 5-7 pm. Please bring your own equipment (bat, helmet, glove/mitt), if possible. Any questions contact Coach Thackeray-- jill.thackeray@nebo.edu

Entry Fees will be charged for the tournament. ONLY cash or checks accepted.
